Fiber Art For a Cause Preview

I have been remiss in my blogging lately--stress with work and other things--but I have been wanting to get back into the routine again. What better way than to show the pieces that I have been working on with a friend of mine, that we donated to the very worthy cause--Fiber Art for a Cause--which benefits the American Cancer Society. I lost my mother in law in 2006 to breast cancer, so this cause is near and dear to my heart.

Over 150 artists have donated 350+ collages to be "auctioned" off beginning May 5th. On May 5th, the suggested donation is a minimum of $80, and then on the 6th and 7th, it goes down to $40--but I wouldn't wait! Your favorite might be snatched up by then. Here is a link to a preview of all of the collages--Lynne and my collages are on page 36.

And here also are the four that we submitted.

Elizabeth - Many thanks for not only the generous donation of your artwork, but today's post! I am very optimistic we will have a successful fundraiser for the American Cancer Society thanks to artists such as yourself.

Hi Elizabeth-

I had already previewed Collage Mania prior to your post and really loved the collages you made even before I knew it was you!
